Middle school innovators submit a brief video describing an original science‑based idea for solving a real‑world problem. Ten finalists earn a mentorship, a visit to a 3M Innovation Center, and compete for $25 000 and the title of “America’s Top Young Scientist.” State merit winners and honorable mentions receive prize packs and recognition
