Students ages 11–18 currently enrolled in middle or high school (or equivalent), globally; participants who have begun college/university are ineligible; under‑13s need parental consent via COPPA form

The Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Contest encourages young creators worldwide to connect with nature and explore environmental themes through visual art, writing, film, poetry, performance, and multimedia. Divided into Junior (11–14) and Senior (15–18) divisions, participants may submit one original work per category created during the 2024–25 school year. Awards include cash prizes up to $1,000, special recognitions like the Smithsonian Creativity in Resilience Award, and opportunities to be featured in exhibitions, anthologies, and Bow Seat’s global youth art collection.
