NASA Langley Student Art Contest

Held virtually with submissions accepted online; organized by NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. It’s open across the U.S. and does not require travel. The competition is free to enter.

Eligibility:
U.S. residents currently in grades K–12, including those in public, private, parochial, or homeschooling; children of U.S. military personnel stationed overseas are also eligible
Students are invited to create an original visual artwork expressing a theme that ties into NASA’s mission—this year’s theme is “Our Wonder Changes the World”. Entries can include hand-drawn or painted works (e.g., pencil, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, collage) or fully original digital artwork—strictly no AI-generated content. One submission per student is allowed. Winners are selected for each grade level (first, second, third place, and honorable mention), plus one grand‑prize winner across all grades. All submissions are published in NASA’s Flickr gallery, and winners receive certificates and NASA swag such as posters, pens, stickers, and patches
