WSDC is the premier global high‑school debate competition, featuring World Schools Style debates (a hybrid of British Parliamentary and Australasian formats). Each national team of three to five students debates prepared and impromptu motions on international affairs and global issues over multiple preliminary rounds and knockout stages. It emphasizes critical thinking, debate skills, cultural exchange, and global awareness and includes more than 70 nation teams each year
