September 29 Zoom Meeting Recap: Austin Entrepreneur Workshop

On November 14, NextGenEd hosted a live Zoom workshop featuring Austin entrepreneurs who joined students to share practical, real-world advice on college and career growth.

During the session, the speakers talked about how they got started, the challenges they faced early on, and what they wish they knew when they were in high school. They offered clear guidance students could apply right away, including how to build confidence, set goals, choose meaningful extracurriculars, and create opportunities through small projects and consistent effort.

The workshop also included time for student questions, making it interactive and personal rather than lecture-style. Students were able to ask for advice directly and leave with stronger direction on how to approach their next steps.
