Georgia Tech Early Action Now State-Restricted

Starting with the Class of 2025, Georgia Tech’s Early Action 1 deadline is reserved for Georgia residents only. Out-of-state and international students can only apply Early Action 2. Georgia Tech did this to prioritize local access while managing overwhelming application volume. Early Action 2 remains highly competitive for non-Georgia residents. If you’re applying to Georgia Tech from outside Georgia, make sure your academic rigor, math/science strength, and essays are extremely strong by the January deadline.
