Florida State University Sees Record Applications

Florida State University (FSU) reported a record 85,000+ applications for Fall 2024, pushing its acceptance rate below 25%. FSU continues to climb national rankings, especially for business, criminology, and arts programs. It’s now considered a “Public Ivy” by many experts. FSU still heavily favors in-state applicants, but top out-of-state students with strong academics and leadership have good scholarship chances. Apply early if you’re interested spaces for out-of-state students are more limited each year.
